J&E Repair Shop, LLC
Started in 2004. I was tired of my work situation and looking for something different. I actually did not want to be a shop owner but things fell into place. I purchased the building and real estate off of Lewis Thacker and moved back to my hometown of Forest. I saw the shop as an opportunity for my wife and I to work together. I often get asked about the name, the J is for Joe and the E is for my wife Emily. Emily is less a part of the business these days but still works from home with some of the book keeping and other organizational work. I love technology, so computers and all the latest diagnostic equipment have always been a big part of the business. Our main goal was to earn our living, be honest with our customers, always try to get the job done right the first time, and always make things right if we don't.
Started working in my Dad's repair shop at 3 years old. Grew up in service stations. Managed other shops before starting J&E Repair Shop in 2004. ASE certified master technician. 27 years full time. Experience in diagnostics, scan tools, lab scopes, all the fancy toys. Experience with heavy duty and medium duty trucks, diesel engine repair, air brakes. If it is a vehicle or piece of equipment I can fix it. Also known to work on combines, tractors, motorcycles, atv's, computers, phones, tablets, and more.

Hannah is the Office Manager for J&E Auto Repair. She is a graduate from Kenton High School in 2021 and has been employed at Walmart, the Kenton YMCA, and at a summer day camp with kids. Before becoming our Office Manager, Hannah was a Part Sales Manager and Delivery Driver at AutoZone for a year. She enjoys helping out around the shop when she can, organizing the office and helping the guys clean up. She works hard to keep the shop neat and organized.
